Q1: What housing options are available for international students at LBTU?
A1: LBTU offers comfortable accommodation at Dormitory No.8, conveniently located in the city center. The dormitory is within a short walking distance from all university facilities.

Q2: What facilities are included in the rooms at Dormitory No.8?
A2: Each room comes with bed sheets and pillows. Please note that towels are not provided, so you’ll need to bring your own or purchase them locally. Additionally, the dormitory does not provide kitchen items such as pans, spoons, and dishes.

Q3: Are laundry facilities available at the dormitory?
A3: Yes, washing machine and dryer facilities are available for use at a cost of 2 euros per use.

Q4: Is internet access available?
A4: Yes, internet access is available for a monthly fee of 1.46 EUR. If you haven’t received a passcode for internet access from the university, you can purchase it directly at the dormitory.

Q5: Can I live alone in a room?
A5: Yes, it’s possible to live alone in a room by paying for both beds. To arrange this, please speak to the dormitory’s manager for a new contract after your arrival.

Q6: What’s the cost for long-term and short-term stay?
A6: For long-term stay (students), the rent is 124.00 EUR per month per bed, along with a refundable deposit of 60.00 EUR. For short-term stay (guests), the rates are 20.00 EUR per day for 1 to 4 days and 18.00 EUR per day for 5 to 28 days.

Q7: How do I make rent payments?
A7: Degree students from Non-EU countries must make payment before arrival. Exchange students and degree students from EU countries can pay upon arrival. Rent payments are due monthly, by the last day of each month.

Q8: How can I pay for accommodation?
A8: Payments should be made to the provided bank account. Details are available in the accommodation guide. Please remember to include your name, last name, and accommodation fee in the comments.

Q9: What should I do if something is broken or damaged?
A9: If anything is broken or damaged during your stay, please report it immediately to the Dormitory Administrator for prompt resolution.

Q10: Where can I get the room key?
A9: Upon arrival the administrator will give you the keys and provide you with directions on how to get to your new home.
